  Within one block of Santa Barbara's beautiful East Beach, the Inn was opened in 1980, as Santa Barbara's first bed and breakfast.  The original house was constructed in 1912 as a private family home on East Beach but was utilized during the roaring l920's as temporary headquarters for the Santa Barbara Yacht Club after their first clubhouse washed out to sea in an unusual winter storm.  The house was moved  to its current location in 1928.

Enjoy a full gourmet breakfast individually prepared and served by the Innkeeper in the Dining Room.

Dinner at the Inn on Saturday Evenings is a tradition started in l980.  Our Chef prepares a five-course prix fixe menu.

The Inn's wonderful large deck.

ALL RATES include a full gourmet breakfast, evening social hour with wine and beverages, use of bicycles, beach towels and chairs.  Rates are double occupancy and subject to 12% bed tax.  Extra person is $35 plus tax.  Special business and mid-week rates are available from October 15th to May 15th, based on availability.  Please inquire.  Two night minimum stay required if Saturday night is included.
Our check in time is 2-6 pm
Check out time is 11am
A one week cancellation notice per room is required and applies to all nights reserved.
For your comfort, no pets and no smoking are allowed in the Inn.
Location
From north or south reaching the Old Yacht Club Inn is a breeze.  Take highway 101 to Cabrillo Blvd. exit (exits Hwy. from left lane).  Turn west on Cabrillo, continue past the bird refuge to Corona Del Mar Dr., the street between the Radisson Hotel and the Cabrillo Inn; turn right to 431.
